YouTube playlists don't play the next video with ABP on

When there's a playlist playing in the background and I'm on a different tab on Safari, when the video ends and loads the next page, the video-box won't load on its own until I select the youtube tab.

If I disable ABP this doesn't happen.

I wasn't able to test whether or not this happens with the HTML5 player or the flash player.
