Re: Adblock Plus for Safari Beta released
Hi, does this build (or any other that will work on Safari 5) still exist somewhere?
Re: Adblock Plus for Safari Beta released
What build did you test ? What errors / issues do you have ?
the dev builds:
https://downloads.adblockplus.org/devbu ... lussafari/
try the last, see if works, report if you have errors / issues

Re: Adblock Plus for Safari Beta released
Thanks; I've tried the 1.8.x dev builds. They install without complaint and put an icon in the toolbar, but it simply doesn't do anything. There are no console messages.
My understanding was that 1.7.x was the last version that would work with Safari 5.
[Edit.―Neither the system console nor the Safari console, that is.]

Nope, nuget is Windows-only. Don't get me wrong; I appreciate the suggestions, but I pretty much exhausted all of the obvious angles before posting here.
Will it build from source on a PPC Mac? All I see from the Safari console is a few pieces of Javascript.

Re: Adblock Plus for Safari Beta released
We never officially supported Safari 5. However, Adblock Plus works reasonable well (I just tested the latest devbuild) on Safari 5.1.
Adblock Plus for Chrome/Opera/Safari is pure JavaScript, you find the code here.Otto wrote:Will it build from source on a PPC Mac? All I see from the Safari console is a few pieces of Javascript.
