Youtube popup ads

The ads at the bottom of youtube videos that popup after a second and can be closed (actually minimized) are not being blocked for me. Thanks for all of your hard work!

Is the only way to get rid of the pop-up ads to disable seeing any and all annotations that people put on their videos across the entirety of youtube? I sure hope there is an alternative. I'd really rather not abstain from such a helpful tool.

Not anymore, since Adblock Plus for Safari 1.7.4.1168 overlay ads are blocked in YouTube videos, while still showing other annotations, see issue 413.

Oh I forgot this was the safari forum - what about for Firefox?
