As I also make YouTube videos (though none of them are really popular...), I understand the value of YouTube ads. In fact, I'd love to support my favorite channels (as long as the ads aren't ridiculous).
I do not personally mind text-overlay ads or the ads to the side of the video. Is there a way to stop blocking these types of ads, so it only blocks audio/video and pre-rolls in YouTube? Basically, as long as it doesn't stop the video content from playing, or make noise, I'm okay with it.
Any way to do this?
Unblock certain TYPES of ads?
Re: Unblock certain TYPES of ads?
see if helps
Code: Select all

Re: Unblock certain TYPES of ads?
It doesn't seem to work. At first it caused AdBlock to turn off entirely, and I had to redo the firstRun page. Then, it doesn't seem to be unblocking anything, even though the filter is still there.
Is there a specific place I'm supposed to put it? I was putting it in the Manage box. I'm using Internet Explorer 11, by the way, if that makes a difference.

Re: Unblock certain TYPES of ads?
no, in ABP for IE you can't do that, only ABP for chrome / firefox.
