Hey guys. Yesterday I've learn that I can block advertisment with Internet Options on Windows. So with this way is this possible to block advertisement of spotify or any sofware?

1) Close Spotify
2) Press WinKey + R and type %appdata%.
3) Navigate to 'Spotify/Apps' and remove ad.spa
4) Press WinKey + R and type %WinDir%. Navigate to 'System32/drivers/etc'.
5) Copy file named 'hosts' to desktop and open it using text editor.
6) Add the following lines of code:
0.0.0.0 pubads.g.doubleclick.net
0.0.0.0 securepubads.g.doubleclick.net
7) Save file and move it to previous location.
8) Reopen Spotify

I think the way to do this with Internet Options is by adding certain domains to the Restricted Sites zone, but adding them to an ad-blocking HOSTS file is more effective if the domains don't also host desirable content.
