Blacklist rather than whitelist

This is the place to discuss issues with the acceptable ads list like a website no longer complying with the criteria.

Blacklist rather than whitelist

Post by Kelnam »

I usually empathize with the people who run the sites I visit and appreciate the services they provide. I would prefer to, rather than whitelisting certain sites to allow ads, enable adblock only on sites with particularly obstructive, obscene, or obnoxious advertising so that the sites that modestly ask for a small compensation to keep the site up get their money, but the moneygrubbers who obstruct my experience with horrific ads do not. Would it be possible to get this in a future update?

Couldn't you accomplish this by disabling the default filter? If you do that you should see all ads except the ones that you specifically block?
