I have decided that I don't like one kind of "Acceptable Ads". The publisher isn't violating the policies or anything, I just decided that I personally don't like this sort of ads since they push buttons in my brain I'd prefer to keep unpushed (clickbait ala "The Most Exciting $X You've Ever $Y. Don't miss this!"). Thus, I've decided that I will not continue seeing these ads.
Is there an easy way to implement this decision (preferably in a generic way that I could apply to other publishers I decide to dislike)? For other filter lists, I get checkboxes where I can uncheck individual rules, but this doesn't seem to be available for the exception list.
Note that having such a way easily available is in the interest of ABP: I'd prefer to keep acceptable ads on, but my decision that I will not continue seeing this sort of ad stands, even if it means turning acceptable ads off or switching to a different adblocker.

- In Firefox or Seamonkey's location bar, paste the following then press Enter:
Code: Select all
about:config?filter=extensions.adblockplus.subscriptions_exceptionscheckbox
- Press the “I'll be careful, I promise!” button to bypass the warning.
- In the search results, double-click extensions.adblockplus.subscriptions_exceptionscheckbox to set its value to false.
