Chrome ad on Google homepage - using IE

I am new to this, and I have not found my issue in any topics already discussed. I have IE 11, and I have just installed ABP latest version. I am trying to eliminate the annoying CHROME ad that opens every time I go to Google homepage. ABP by itself does not seem to take care of the CHROME ad. But I found a forum elsewhere (dated Jan. 2012) in which it was said this could be done if all three of the following are installed:
- Adblock Plus 2.0.3
- Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon 0.3
- Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus 1.2.1

I cannot find a source anywhere for the Pop-up Addon for IE - I have only found it for Firefox and other browsers.
Any help? Or any differing suggestions for getting rid of the CHROME ads?

You listed addons for firefox.
I already tried to remove that chrome ad but it seems it is not possible for now.

Well, thanks, mapx, I guess. I assume you're saying that similar ABP addons for IE do not exist?

You already installed ABP for IE, but ABP for IE is very different from those for firefox / chrome (because IE does not offer a real extension system like the modern browsers chrome / firefox), so it's very difficult to have the same features.

I see. OK, well, thanks, I appreciate the info. Let me know if you ever find a way to eliminate that Chrome ad. Have a good weekend.
