Adblock Plus

Adblock Plus 1.5.0.0 is installed on IE 11 running on Win 7 Pro 64 bit SP1. It is enabled and the status bar is visible.

There is no settings icon on the right hand end of the status bar.

Adblock Plus right now is not doing anything.

Going to the test page (http://simple-adblock.com/faq/testing-your-adblocker/) resulted in two large icons "NOT WORKING"

It was an good idea. I guess. It is enabled, the status bar is shown, and it does not work. The other addons that I have are all important to me. I am not going to debug Adblock Plus, I will just uninstall it.

Did you check this? Internet options/ Advanced Tab, checkmark "Enable third-party browser extensions". Most common reason for no ABP icon on Status bar in my experience.
