Wan't no ABP on Google

I have been trying to allow ad-entries on the Google search result page. I am using IE 11.
Have tried below mentioned procedure (exporting from Firefox) without luck.
I have noticed in FireFox that if I allow ad's on the Google search page an entry as follows is added: "@@||google.dk^$document"
I have tried to add this entry to the patterns.ini for IE. No effect. And later updates seems to remove the entry from the patterns.ini-file.
Any suggestions - except from using FireFox ???

you should use only the exported patterns.ini from firefox and not modifying the existent patterns.ini in ABP from IE.

Thanks. However it does not seem to work.
Just to be sure I do it right:
- In FF I open "Filter preferences",
- Select "Backup and restore"
- Select "Create new backup"
- Select the file name patterns.ini and save it "somewhere"
- Finally move the saved file patterns.ini to "%user%/AppData/LocalLow/Adblock Plus for IE".
I have made to searches on the same keyword, one in IE and one in FF. The one from IE (still) lacks all sponsored/advertising material.
If you want I cam send you a screen dump of the two searches as well as the patterns.ini file. Please advise how to send it.

I tested right now, but not using firefox trick.
When on google.dk page, click ABP icon, click "disable on
www.google.dk", then refresh the page ==> the ads will be on the page.

Thanks. However the problem is I see no ABP icon when I am using IE. In FF I have it in the upper right corner - but nowhere in IE.

ABP icon is on the Status bar in IE.
May need to enable 3rd party extensions (advanced tab in internet options).

Thanks. I did not see the icon because display of the status bar was not enabled.
No it is and it seems to be working.
Thanks.
