Adblock blocking AdWords clicks even when disabled

Hi,

I installed AdBlock Plus for my Dad as our local news site has about a zillion ads and was slooooowwwiiiing his comp right down.

It's solved that problem, but he complains that when he clicks on links to his favourite sites he just gets a blank white page. I've checked today and what's happening is AdBlock Plus is blocking any time he clicks on AdWords links (fine with natural search) but just shows a blank white page (no message).

Also, I tried disabling AdBlock for Google.co.uk and restarting but it still does it.

I checked and he's on latest version of IE and it's a recent install of AdBlock too.

Any ideas what the problem is?
