Massive problem, I want this fixed

I downloaded AdBlock on Monday. Then the next day I turned on my computer and some of my desktop icon are gone and some of my icons aren't working. So, I restart it. I come back to see my desktop background gone, some of my icons gone, internet explorer has been virtually reset. I'm not sure if this is AdBlock or not, but at this time it is the only reasonable explanation. So, I want this fixed...
