No Icon

I installed this on my Mac with no problems. I'm trying to do it for a friend's pc running IE 11.0. It installs correctly. It doesn't start automatically so I go to Program files and open the engine. At this point I can see it's running in Task Manager. There's no icon on the browser and it seems no ads are blocked as video ones still pop-up. I saw another post here saying that opening the engine as administrator solved her problem (which seemed the same) but I can't open the administrator version. I didn't see any place on the website to download an administrator version. Any suggestions?

I forgot to say that it's not showing under the IE cog. I have the command bar on. I tried everything I saw as suggestions on this forum.

It should be visible in Tools (Cog)/Manage Add-Ons.
The Icon is displayed on the "Status" bar at the bottom of the IE page.

The Adblock Plus icon is on Internet Explorer's status bar (at the bottom of the window). The status bar is hidden by default in recent versions of IE though. To display it, right-click the spot between the New Tab button and the Home button and check "Status bar".
