Trouble after installing ABP - can't log onto website

I use ABP on my home computer and everything is fine.

At my work computer I have been having these in-text ads (not sure what else to call them) whereby certain words of text in certain websites that I must use for work are highlighted links/ads. In addition to that I get a lot of crap pop-ups so since ABP works well at home I installed it on my work computer.

Work computer is Windows 8.1 (ugh) and I installed for IE.

I now cannot log onto one website in particular, and nobody else's logins will work either. I reset my password and still no luck. Obviously this is hugely inconvenient because I cannot do my work! I cannot log in using any other browser, either - Firefox doesn't work, Chrome doesn't work, IE doesn't work.

Help!!!

Oh, and I uninstalled ABP, ran a Norton scan, and restarted, and still it doesn't work.
