The Enhanced Protection mode disables AdBlock Plus extenson stating that it is incompatible.
Moreover the video ads aren't blocked

Enhanced Protected Mode of Internet Explorer 10 isn’t supported at the moment.

Enhanced protection is on by default in IE11
