Some sites are crashing IE

Post by MightyMoe »

IE 10.0.9200.16618
Windows 7 x64
Latest x64 Adblock for IE @ ruadlist+easylist (Tried to redownload and reinstall)
All plug-ins and runtimes are up-to-date. (like flash or java or whatever)
Tried reboot :)

The problem is some sites are causing IE to crash. (Gives the message that error was occurred and all I can do is to press "close program" button.) After doing so it tries to reload the tab without closing the window, but result is always the same. It manages to load the page's header before the crash though.
Here, you can try it yourselves. The page belongs to popular Ukrainian IT blog so there's definitely no mailware-kind-of-stuff. Works fine without adblock or with adblock on another browsers.

Confirmed, Paul Thurrott's winsupersite.com crashes out, maybe the big opening ad?
Thank you for this ad blocker though, other sites working fine.

http://apolyton.net/ crashes with Adblock Plus 64 bit installed.

I had tried this to prevent a related script from running that was slowing the site from responding but unfortunately AdBlock not only prevented the ad but blew the site right out of the water.

IE 10 crashed and I was not able to open the site at all.

Sorry ... I had to uninstall AdBlock Plus and look for alternatives.

http://www.fitbit.com does it every time. Using the 64-bit version.

O originally thought it may be the Flash update I did that day, however after a full un-install of Flash, the problem continues.
