ABP IE 11 (?) Not Working?

I hope you do the copy with IE closed. Check again the size of patterns.ini (to be the copied one from firefox) after closing, reopening IE.
If not ok ==> close IE, copy patterns.ini again, reopen IE.

If ok ==> do some tests with some pages if the ads are blocked.

sorry for the late reply, I did as you told me with the redo of the backup of adblock for IE, and now I checked the link you told me, the adblock is working for the website but the elements are not...any suggestions?

I think its simple.adblock ? Something along does lines. It give me two squares. One shows that the adblock is green indicating working whereas the other says adblcok elements in a red box saying not working

^^"Simple Adblock" is the name of an IE extension that stopped updating and directed its userbase to ABP, not a domain name where you can check whether ABP is working.

the other site annoying me was bing but so far everything seems to be fine!

do you know if by any chance I can use firefox to block elements like in chrome to block join a certain group on fb or play a game on fb, etc... and then import it to internet explorer

As I said you can transfer all the filters from firefox to IE, but sometimes not all the firefox /chrome filters will work in IE.

you mean ads only using IE ? (and not in firefox / chrome)

"occasional" ... if you can't reproduce them any time, it's difficult to verify such thing

yeah like you know how in bing or any search engine its like "ads related to (search query) "

yes, thats totally right even me i downloaded ABP on IE 11 using windows 7 ... and it didnt work proparly some of the ads are shown in a shape of a large white boxes . i uninstalled the ABP and redownladed it again nothing happend ... so please help me out with this .what seems the soultion for this problem?????
