I work for a school district and I am testing Adblock Plus on our standard Win 7 image. It works fine on Chrome and Firefox, however on IE whenever a new person logs into the computer and opens IE they always get the Adblock has been installed splash page. Our student machines are frozen so this will always happen to anyone to logs in and uses IE.
How do I disable this page from popping up?
I noticed that the splash screen that pops up just points to an html file in C:\Program Files\Adblock Plus for IE\templates\firstRun.html I tried deleting the file but then an error message pops up saying the file is missing. I tried poking around in the various *.js files in C:\Program Files\Adblock Plus for IE\html\static\js but understanding code is not really my forte.
