ABP latest version causing IE 11 to freeze

hi, yesterday I installed the latest version of ABP on my windows 8.1 x64 IE11 few minutes later IE 11 start to freeze ..... I removed ADP everything got back to normal

as much as I would like to use ADP I can't please fix this issue

I had the same problems and after researching this issue some more I discovered AdBlock Plus is not needed in IE 9 or higher to block ads. IE 9 or higher has a feature called Tracking Protection. You can use this feature to block ads and tracking just like Adblock plus does and you can use the same ad blocking lists that adblock plus uses.
