can't uninstall adblock the specified account already exists

I went to uninstall Adblock so I could upgrade the latest one, but when I try to uninstall I get a message that says the specified account already exists. When I try to install the new one I get the same message. I tried logging into the computer as a different user and got the same message. Windows 7 OS running IE . I thought maybe I could try installing the old version, but I don't see it available on AdBlock's site

Yeah, sounds like a broken install/uninstall.
If you can manage to re-install the version that broke, you may be able to complete the uninstall. Worth trying.
