I 've been using ABP for several years on IE. For the past 7 or 8 weeks I have noticed that it is no longer blocking ads on the Daily Mail website ( I don't agree with the editorial leaning, but it is the best laid-out newspaper website - without the ads). My ABP is up to date. Previously it had blocked 100% of ads.
Is there an actual problem, or is ABP now allowing ads though deliberately (eg for sponsorship?) ?

Re: ABP no longer blocking ads on Daily Mail website
No, there is no sponsorship.
There are eventually only acceptable ads (and which you can dismiss) for the sites which ask for it, but daily mail is not using such ads.
So, back to ads.
You should:
-close IE
-go to ABP for IE folder, delete patterns.ini
-open IE, the list (easylist) should download
-test again
-which ads are you seeing ?
-did you scan your system for adware / malware ? (use adwcleaner or malwarebytes antimalware free edition)
the folder with patterns.ini is at:
%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Adblock Plus for IE\
(%userprofile% is your user profile directory, like "C:\Users\YourUser")

Re: ABP no longer blocking ads on Daily Mail website
I had the "allow non intrusive ads" box unchecked.
I have superantispyware and malwarebytes antimalware installed and making daily scans. I re-ran deep scans with each - nothing found.
Deleting the pattens.ini files seems to have cured the problem for now. No more ads appearing.
Thanks for the help.
