Hello Adblock world,
My problem appears on IE 11.0.9600.17498 and Windows 8.1 64-bit with the secured version of Google which is the default one https://www.google.fr (and no problem with http://www.google.fr)
For example, when I search "amazon", the first result is a Google Announce link to http://www.amazon.fr and the second is the "standard" link to http://www.amazon.fr
I often click on the first result and can't access the page. The URL stays on the following link with a blank screen and nothing happens : http://www.google.fr/aclk?sa=L&ai=CMWwb ... 1ozcfkw9_e
Disabling Adblock for Google site or everywhere doesn't change anything but disabling the Browser Helper Object makes the links work back again.
Does anyone has the same behavior ?
Would someone please help me ?
Thank you in advance.
Google Announces in web search results shouldn't be blocked
Re: Google Announces in web search results shouldn't be blocked
what ABP version are you using ?
Are you using the acceptable ads ? (see in settings)

I think this is kind of related to this slightly.
https://issues.adblockplus.org/ticket/1754
Where the shopping links just open blank also.
The same happens to me where the first link (the ad lin) will open up blank page.

Re: Google Announces in web search results shouldn't be blocked
Hello mapx and 4od,
Thank you for your answers.
@mapx : my version of Adblock Plus is the latest 1.3.0.0 for IE. Acceptable ads are enabled and my list in France is the default one : Liste FR+EasyList.
@4od : I took a look at your ticket, where I could read "Observed behaviour : If you disable adblock plus everywhere then the link will open fine" and for me disabling ABP everywhere still blocks the links. I must disable the ABP plugin in the options of IE : "Complementary Modules"... Then it works back again.
Have you any other idea ?
Thank you again for your help.

What if you disable acceptable ads ?
Re: Google Announces in web search results shouldn't be blocked
I've tried and the problem persists

Hello,
I've tried on another computer with the same versions of Windows, IE and ABP.
And there is the same problem.
Does someone have another idea ?
Thank you in advance.
PS : Sorry for the time to respond but I'm not registered and I check regularly this forum.
