block after loading

Post by sam1275 »

I am using ABP for IE. I found some ADs still shows until the page is completely loaded, especially when the internet is slow(sometimes the page even lock for a while), I have to look at the ADs for a long time before it finish loading. I think there's a way to make it better: Only load things after confirming it's not ADs, instead of hide them after found it's an ADs.

And, sometimes it cannot block even when loading completed, but when I reload the page, it block the ADs after the loading completed, PLEASE, make it filter the ADs out before loading them.

Actually ABP does try to block ads: Most rules are blocking rules, meaning that ABP blocks requests matching them.

Maybe the specific ads in question are not blocked by the blocking rules but are being hidden by another type of rule, called "hiding rules"

If ABP for IE isn't blocking some ads that ABP for Firefox or Chrome does block, using just EasyList, then it's a sign that the developers aren't quite done developing ABP for IE.

You should post examples of pages where the ads load and remain on-screen for a while before being hidden.
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.
