ABP causes Wi-Fi to not connect...

Post by Velimere »

...on my AT&T rooted SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 running Android 4.3 with the following status messages:

Obtaining IP address...

Checking the quality of your Internet connection...

Network disabled because Internet connection is slow

This persists even if I end ABP in Active applications and Clear memory under RAM manager. The only way to restore Wi-Fi connectivity is to disable Filtering in ABP. I'm using ABP 1.2 for Android, but I've also tested older versions as well all giving me the same result. This leads me to believe that the issue is in regards to Android 4.3, so please update ABP to work properly with it!

For now, a workaround of setting Filtering in ABP to OFF before connecting to Wi-Fi and then to ON afterwards seems to work, but having to do this every time I transition from cellular to Wi-Fi is no fun at all!

Edit:

ABP also crashes every time I try to Check for for update under Advanced settings.
