Adblock Plus

I am using ABP for Android version 1.3.3 Build# 270. I have an issue where the notification for the app telling me the status always says "As are blocked on all connections" (Yes, my device is rooted) whether or not the filter is enabled. I have tried rebooting, blocking and unblocking root access, reinstalling the app, and nothing has changed. It is set up to run on boot.

I have a nexus 4. The image is occam, and the binary is mako. It is the 16GB model, and I do not have a custom ROM. I have clockworkmod for my recovery, and rooted the device using SuperSU.

Hopefully this is enough info. I can provide logcat logs for actions if it is required.

I have a similar problem with the version from the Amazon app store, regularly the notification bar on Kindle Fire HD says it's allowing ads yet it is still set to on, I have to turn it off then on again for it to work but eventually I find I can't connect to the internet & that is the cause again.
