Adblock Plus

can spmeone please help. I have installed adblock 1.1.2 build 253

& configured it as stated but when I rout traffic through port 2020, localhost, all traffic is blocked via either 3g or wifi whichever connection I configure.

any suggestions?

adblock plus is running and you have add a filterlist? You can see that ABP is running through the icon in the toolbar.

my device is a samsung gt-i8190n running android 4.1.2 with adblockplus ver 1.1.2 build 253 downloaded from (en/android-install) i add that address as someone commenting on another topic stated this build didnt exist.


hello abakus & thank you for the reply, yes abp is in the tool bar & running, the "fanboy" subscription was added before i set the proxy, now when i try to update the list i get this msg:

ok things sort of working... i re-did my settings & re entered my password (as suggested on on-other topic)

well firefox, k9 mail & skype work now, facebook app fails, adblock filter subscription fails (same error as above), play store fails,

if you turn off filtering but leave the proxy settings alone, it then allows you to download the updated filter subscription, facebook still giving network error, as does the play store.

What if you unistall it, reboot your device and re-install it?
