ABP Options Gone

I'm using HTC DNA with Firefox 20.x.x
I can install and successfully use ABP till I exit and restart Firefox to which at that point it stops blocking. The add-on remains on the add-on list but no longer allows me to acess it's options. Uninstalling and reinstalling fixes the problem but only till I exit Firefox again.

Any suggestions as to a fix?

Hey,

I'm using the ABP with my Nexus7, Firefox 20.0.1, unrooted. I can't reproduce your Problem. Can you give more Information? Which filter list are you using? Is your phone rooted? The Version of your Android?

I noticed this moment, there is a ABP extension for firefox on Android. Are you using this one? Or the Android App?

Extension for firefox on Android, which said it's capable of working for my version of Firefox Mobile. As for the app, I haven't been able to find it on the market, which then assumed it doesn't have a version that works for my phone.

You should try the App for Android instead the Addon for firefox. You can download it here http://adblockplus.org/en/android-install

The addon hides the placeholders of the blocked elements and reclaims the ad space. That experience is far better than with the app for android.

If anyone needs any logs to figure out the issue with the addon, please let me know.

I have run into the same exact problem on my new S4. The plugin works after it's been installed into Firefox, but after the browser is quit, it no longer functions, and the options are no longer accessable. The only way to get it to work again is to reinstall it every time I open the browser... I don't know if the problem has to do with Android 4.2.2...

In my case, disabling and then enabling the addon makes it start working again - don't need to resort to uninstall/reinstall.

Hey adodb,
it would be nice if you can provide some log files.
