Port number not displayed on Nexus 4

After I installed ABP, first of all I was given all the friendly suggestions to turn off the notification, first by hiding it and then by removing it completely from settings; then I was told I needed the notifications info to find the port number. So I reversed both of the hiding and removing of notifications--but to my dismay, the port number is not there at all. This is what I get in the ABP notification:

Adblock Plus
Ads are blocked on WiFi connection

That was it. But fortunately I just followed the "generic example" and chose 2020 as the port, and it seems to be working!

Oh, the phone is Nexus 4, with Android 4.2.2.
