AdBlock Plus blocks imternet zraffic of Beweather Pro

As soon as filtering is set Beweather Pro, v 1.3.16, cannot find its server. Blocking all adds or letting the acceptables pass does not mather.
As soon as I disable filtering everthing works fine.

System: ZTE Blade V6 with rootet Android 5.0.2.

Don't know if this would help, but in the past AdBlock had a feature to make exceptions for certain programs.
