So for the last few days I've gotten that infamous screen on youtube that warns me that ad blockers are against the TOS.
Then it warned me that I could watch only 3 more video.
And now youtube is showing me a black screen when I try to watch a video, and is forcing me either to allow ads or to subscribe to youtube premium.

Isn't there another way ??

same here when trying on Windows. I have no problem watching on Android using smarttube.
either yt has not figured out how to block smarttube or smarttube has a better way of getting around yt blocking.
i do note that sometimes while watching via smarttube there seems to be a hesitation for a split second when I think there is an ad. but it
just seems to skip the ad. if any of that makes any sense.

i just had this happen for 1st time ever, the past 3 videos watched on windows 11/ chrome browser.. also watch an absurd amount of YT videos every single day [10+].. please lmk if there's any new action i need to take to address this - thx

I had not seen an ad for like 15 years !!!
And now this

I still has uBLock, but today it's detected.
So I tried Opera's built in ad blocker, but it is detected as well.

I asked AI and they say to use a lesser known extension.
But if we all do this, or if youtube is on a mission, we're screwed.

Well today is a new day !

I am experiencing this, too. I am not going to pay their $170.00 per year. Until something changes, I am forced to say that Youtube was good while it lasted. I'll try to turn this into something positive, like by finding new sites and perhaps watching fewer videos. Like when Yahoo went down.., life goes on. Facebook will probably find a way to alienate us, too, at some point.

VPN to Isreal, for now they dont go against ADBlocker
