Adblock Plus

Hi.
I installed Adblock Plus about two weeks ago and have seen its benefits so far.

But this morning after my Internet modem disconnect intermittently (due to a loose u.s.b), I noticed that even while there was no Internet connection, the number icon has continued incrementing and hasn't stopped even as I type,about ten minutes later. I am using Opera 28 on Windows 8.1 with Kaspersky 2015. I have not noticed the problem before.
