Subscription authors listed at en/subscriptions receive weekly/daily issue report digest e-mails, which also includes digest URL like https://reports.adblockplus.org/digest? ... xxxxxxxxxx .
I think it would be better if the digests also display the total number of subscription, including NOT-LISTED subscriptions.
Example) A user who subscribe two listed subscriptions and one NOT-LISTED subscription...
2/3 <= listed/total
[WontFix] More informative "number of filter subscriptions"
Re: More informative "number of filter subscriptions"
Are unknown subscriptions all that common?

Unknown subscriptions would be included in TOTAL.Wladimir Palant wrote:Are unknown subscriptions all that common?
Re: More informative "number of filter subscriptions"
I went through some issue reports and the discrepancy is pretty much always caused by exceptionrules.txt. There can be different opinions on whether it should be counted as a subscription but it should be added to the list soon at which point it will count.
There are technical reasons that make counting unknown subscriptions hard so you should explain why it is important to you.

The reason is simple.Wladimir Palant wrote:I went through some issue reports and the discrepancy is pretty much always caused by exceptionrules.txt. When I check issue reports directly via WEB, go to the digest page.
There is a column named "subscriptions", which displays how many subscription users subscribe, excluding UNKNOWN or exceptionrules.txt.
But "subscription" tab in each issue report displays all the using subscriptions, including UNKNOWN and exceptionrules.txt.
It seems inconsistent to me.
Re: More informative "number of filter subscriptions"
If that's all the reason then I'm marking your report as WontFix. As I said, exceptions.txt will be counted soon. And unknown subscriptions create only a minor discrepancy that isn't worth fixing.
Re: [WontFix] More informative "number of filter subscriptions"
For new subscription authors, it would be a little bit confusing because of unwritten law, though it's a minor issue.
Off the topic:
I wonder LISTED subscriptions in the "subscription" tab of each issue report could be emphasized using bold fonts.
This helps to recognize whether each subscription is LISTED or not.
