[Invalid] Speedtest.net does not load with v2.0.4a.3408.

I am using version 2.0.4a.3408. With ABP enabled as an add-on, Speedtest.net does not load it's speed test. If I remove or disable ABP as an add-on speedtest will then load it's speedtest.

Disabling the site when ABP is active does not work as well as disabling ABP for all sites. Although when playing around with these two options I did manage to get speedtest to load. It is pretty much hit or miss doing it this way.

Running Fx/13.0a1.

running the same build on FF stable. No problems for me.
Looks like a filter issue.
please submit a issue report using built in issue reporter accessed by right clicking the ABP icon

It's not a filter. I created a new Firefox profile and installed the same development build. I disabled all filters and even disabled ABP for all sites. I still can't get the portion of the speedtest that begins with the loading percentage.

I think it might be an conflict between ABP and the version of Fx I am using.

sounds like it might also be a problem with flash cos that part of the site requires adobe flash to work

If I recall correctly the site was working fine until around the time I installed the hourly that bumped Firefox to 13. In fact, to get ABP to work I had to modify it's install.rdf file with the new version number.

Can't seem to get to Bugzilla to check out the bug fix. It's pretty old.

Yes, there seems to be some regression in the current nightly. The same thing happens with my minimal content policy meaning that this issue affects a wide range of extensions.

I filed bug 723154 and confirmed that bug 90268 is the cause. Everything else is up to Mozilla now. Marking as "Invalid" because it isn't our bug.

Wladimir

It doesn't seem there is any activity on this problem. Is there any way you can come up with some sort of circumvention of the problem until Mozilla does finally fix it. Perhaps it could be an Add-On? I need my ABP and want to stay on the Nightlies.

There is no work-around for this problem, content policies are the mechanism that Adblock Plus is based on - not using them is impossible. And Mozilla is working on it, no matter what it looks like.

No, the issue here was fixed in Firefox 13. So unless you are using an extremely outdated Firefox version you are having a different issue and you better create a new topic - and describe the issue properly there.
