Stable Chrome

after opening options.
click update all filters
window closes automatically during the updating of filters.
Is it the intended effect ?

No, and it works correctly for me. Did you click the "Update now" button? How many filter subscriptions do you have in the list? I can imagine that there might be an out-of-memory error resulting in Chrome restarting the extension but I would guess that Chrome notifies you about that. At least that's the only explanation I can come up with so far.

Yes clicked the update button
No warning displayed.
Now unable to reproduce the issue.
Can anyone else confirm ?

Maybe an extension update happened just when you did that? Because an update would close the options window.

I don't think so, it was prolonged.
Will let you know if it comes back :)

Have found the problem. !!! YESSSSS

open options of ABP
go back to extensions tab
click update all extensions
even when ABP does not update/or any other extension, the options window closes.
no other options window of any other extension i have closes
Does this have something to do with the experimental addons?

Aha, I can see that - even with the non-experimental version. Works fine with the stable version however. It looks like our development builds are updated each time, to the same version. That explains the high download numbers for the development build updates.

Edit: Ok, I see the issue now - our current development build has version number 1.2.0.760 while the server thinks it is 1.2.760 (which is a higher version number). So Chrome considers it as an update.
