Annoying Pop outside of Chrome when using Chrome

How to stop these pop up coming from click.cpvrdr on my IE browser when I am using Chrome. It only happens when I am using Chrome. Here is one of the links
http://click.cpvrdr.com/redirect.php?ID ... 0&KEY=9110. Any suggestions are welcome. I tried the Ad Block Pop up that Chrome recommends and it doesn't stop it.

is it IE your default browser and clicking somewhere in chrome opens links in IE (like default browser) ?

did you scan for malware / adware ?
