I think Gmail has changed something in itself and the text ads are now being displayed in the inbox.
Chrome (latest version) with ABP. Even 'block element' cannot detect it.

web clips
uncheck "Show my web clips above the Inbox"

As this seems to be solvable at Gmail directly, I'll lock this issue.
