new tab page - chrome

The adblock remove the 8 squares in the google home page, but in the next opening they come back.
please help me!

well, it's not google home page but the new tab page, yeah, it seems ABP does not have "block element" enabled on it

I cannot reproduce what I think, this issue was about: Opening a new tab page in Chrome and NOT seeing the 8 website thumbnails. If you still face an ABP defect, please file a detailed issue at https://issues.adblockplus.org
