Darkening and countdown

Hello!
I have such problem. When I open a new tab, sometimes a darkening of the browser screen occurs and in the upper right corner a circle with a five-second countdown appears, then it replaces with a red cross - the "Close" button. It has been suggested that this is due to the work of the plugin Adblock Plus. When the plugin is disabled, the same occurs, but with the darkening, an advertisement appears in the center of the screen, over the rest of the content.
Please fix this problem so that advertising was blocked without darkening and countdown.
