Filter List ABP just stopped working

ABP was working fine and then it just stopped. I am not a computer person so much of the troubleshooting goes above my head. Many allude to the 'filter list'. when I go into the ABP options I don't SEE any list of filters - nada, nothing. Could someone please offer a gentle hand in helping me figure out what is going on? I am using google chrome. thanks.

see the image: if you dont see easylist enabled, click "add filter subscription" and add easylist (or/and other subscription for your language)

If the extension still doesn't work after enabling a filter list, or the filter lists keep disappearing after having tried a new clean browser profile, please file a report at https://issues.adblockplus.org
