Hello there,
I use Firefox 20.0, Adblock plus 2.2.3. I've got a couple of other extensions installed, but I don't think that's relevant here. I have Downloadhelper, Status-4-evar and Stay Open Menu installed, latest versions.
My problem is that Adblock Plus blocks the "Win" section on http://www.comedycentral.nl/ , even when it is fully disabled on all pages. The only way to display the "Win" section in Firefox, is to unload the Adblock Plus extension in the Firefox Add-on manager (and refreshing the page). The "Win" section is in the right sidebar of the site.
What you should see with Adblock Plus disabled: http://s11.postimg.org/bhv0i14v7/win1.png
What you actually see with Adblock Plus disabled: http://s3.postimg.org/k9351lknn/win2.png
Steps to reproduce:
1) Go to http://www.comedycentral.nl/ with Adblock Plus disabled, but loaded in the Firefox Add-on manager. See that the "Win" section is missing.
2) Now unload Adblock Plus in the Firefox Add-on manager. Refresh the page http://www.comedycentral.nl/. See that the "Win" section is now present.
Adblock plus hiding ads even when disabled!
Re: Adblock plus hiding ads even when disabled!
That section does not even appear for me if I disable ABP completely.
Re: Adblock plus hiding ads even when disabled!
The "Win Section" should be present after unloading Adblock Plus in the Firefox Add-on manager, and then refreshing the page http://www.comedycentral.nl/. If not, try restarting the Firefox browser after unloading Adblock Plus in the Add-on manager. Then visit http://www.comedycentral.nl/.MonztA wrote:That section does not even appear for me if I disable ABP completely.
If you still cannot see the "Win" section, can you try using Internet Explorer?
Btw, the identical problem is present in Google Chrome 26, so this is not a problem isolated to Firefox.

Ok, I think I will make things weirder now.
Tried that. Even tried Firefox' safe-mode. No luck.Guest wrote:If not, try restarting the Firefox browser after unloading Adblock Plus in the Add-on manager. Then visit http://www.comedycentral.nl/.
It also does not work for me in IE10.Guest wrote:If you still cannot see the "Win" section, can you try using Internet Explorer?
It works for me in Chrome 26 even with ABP enabled.Guest wrote:Btw, the identical problem is present in Google Chrome 26, so this is not a problem isolated to Firefox.
Re: Adblock plus hiding ads even when disabled!
The issue is no longer present. I can see the "Win" section now in all three browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome). I can see the "Win" section with Adblock Plus enabled in both Firefox and Chrome.
Re: Adblock plus hiding ads even when disabled!
I have the same issue. I have adblock plus in Firefox and Adblock in Google Chrome. I have disabled it for several sites, including youtube, twitch and mlg.tv, but ads are always blocked on those sites. Even when I disable Adblock for all sites, it keeps blocking ads. The only way to allow ads is to start a private session (which does not enable adblock at all) or to disable the add-in completely from within settings.
I am currently on Windows 8.1, but the issue was present when I was using Windows 7 too. Google Chrome Version 32.0.1700.107 m, Firefox 27.0.
UPDATE: I figure out why the ads are being blocked. The culprit is not Adblock but an anti-virus add-on. I just had to tell the anti-virus add-on to allow ad-tracking on these sites and problem solved.

If that issue happens again, please file a detailed report on https://issues.adblockplus.org/.
