Reducing ABP memory usage?

Had to reinstall firefox, so i started clean. New profile, install extensions again.
Had ABP 2.32 before. Now 2.4 and the memory usage has spiraled out of control.
Loading firefox in safe-mode no extensions uses about 75mb ram. With only ABP,
it is now over 150mb on startup of black page.

Is there anything I can do to trim the bloat? Use an older version or use a smaller
Easylist filter?

Instead of the regular EasyList you could try EasyList without element hiding rules.

Apart from reducing memory by using less memory-using filter lists, we are continuously working on the memory reduction of ABP.
