installing adblockplus on Firefox

First, I get a message saying Firefox has blocked the add-on, the I select Add. Next, I get an error message saying FF could not continue with the installation due to a failure to connect by AdBlockPlus.org.

The install button on the homepage points to the add-on hosted on the Firefox Add-ons site. You can install directly from there and see if that works for you.
