[Invalid] "Lazy Background Pages" flag incompatability

Post by Traspler »

Hello

I just noticed that if you have the "Lazy Background Pages" flag set in Chrome (my version is 16.0.912.63 beta-m) ABP from the Chrome Web Store will not block any ads and the latest crx as well as the experimental build from the website will render Chrome unable to load any webpage and the options page for ABP does not look and work as intended.

the lazy background page feature is under development and still not compatible with most extensions.

As Chrome developers explained in http://crbug.com/96927 - they don't recommend switching this flag on and this feature is far from being done. As things are right now, you shouldn't expect any extension to work correctly with this flag switched on.
