custom filter to block Washington Post "For You" touts?

Post by Libove »

Recently the Washington Post website (https://www.washingtonpost.com/) began popping up obnoxious "For You" (read me next! spend more time on me! by the way I'm obscuring part of the article you're actually f***ing paying me to let you read!") touts in the lower-left corner of article display pages.
"Block element" doesn't work for this because every f***ing one of these "For You" pop-ins has custom HTML code behind it, e.g.:

Code: Select all

washingtonpost.com###softwall-recirc-121769f62e72
washingtonpost.com##.wpds-c-cFaYiI.wpds-c-cFaYiI-dguCHI-position-fixed.wpds-c-cFaYiI-ikhbnYf-css.hide-for-print
.. and I haven't yet detected a pattern.

Has anyone got an Adblock Plus custom filter that will kill all of these obnoxious "For You" pop-ins?
(I sent feedback to the WaPost about this; no response, despite that I'm a paying subscriber).

thanks,
