adblock plus has stopped blocking youtube ads

usually the advert opens and adblock stops it immediately and it moves onto the video.
now is not blocking the advert

I am still getting adverts on youtube in chrome windows 10. Please advise if you're trying to fix it or have given up?

AdBlock Plus may need an update or reconfiguration. Ensure you're on the latest version, check if “Allow some non-intrusive advertising” is unchecked, and update your filter lists. Clearing your browser cache might also help.

Adblock feature is blocked by google in all browsers.

I don't understand why it doesn't block ads like before. Before, just going to a video would make all the ads disappear. Now the ads still appear and it's very annoying. How can I fix this? I don't know much about technology, I just want to find a way to make it work like before. Does anyone know how to fix it? Block Blast
