ABP blocking logging in to PayPal from eBay

For the past 2 days I have been trying to buy something from eBay using PayPal at checkout. Each time I would select PayPal, I would get the PayPal popup to login. My email address is pre-filled out. I'd enter my password and instead of getting redirected to the SMS code challenge (2FA), it would clear my email address and password out and not continue. I just tried adding paypal.com to ABP's white list and that solved the issue. However, I can't report it via ABP's automated tool because the main Chrome window is on eBay and the pop-up, without the ABP icon to click on, is PayPal.com
A regular direct visit to paypal.com and logging in there worked fine (which how I knew my password was okay).
This is not the first time recently that ABP has blocked functionality on a legitimate and major site. A week or so ago, I couldn't buy any stamps on the United States Postal Service (usps.com) website. The ability to select sizes and add to cart was totally missing from the page. I just happened to try a whitelist after a few days of being unable to buy and bam!, solved the problem. I did report that one.
ABP 3.7 on Chrome 80.0.3987.106 (Official Build) (64-bit), filter lists are all up to date.
