Redundant or Outdated Custom Filters

Post by enbob »

I use Easylist and a couple of other lists and I have a bunch of custom filters.

Two questions:

1. Is there a way to see which of my custom filters are also in my filter subscriptions? Or if my custom filters are made obsolete by my filter subscriptions?

2. Is there a way to see if any of my custom filters are no longer necessary? Like if they block elements that no longer exist?

Famlam's Redundancy check for Adblock Plus can help you to removing unnecessary redundant filters.

Thanks. So to check if EasyList makes these rules redundant, I should paste all EasyList filters in there?

Keep in mind the redundancy checks don't support $generichide/specific filters
