Adblock PLus on Chrome is not working on certain sites

There is an issue I am having with Adblock Plus beginning to not work on sites all across Chrome. dictionary.com is one of them. I need to know what is happening and soon because it defeats the purpose of using it if it doesn't work.

Provide details on what does not work on the various sites (example links too). Upload eventually screenshots.

Be sure your system is not infested by malware and your filter lists are still enabled.

I am seeing ads all over the place. I regularly update the filters but it's been a few days since ads took over. (I scanned computer for malware and so it's not that).
