So I 'm not sure if this problem is ABP specific or not, but just wondering if someone may know a solution.
I can't run RTE Player even though I have no ad blockers turned on. It says 'ad blocker software alert'.
I tried: turning off ABP, uninstalling ABP, clearing my history, clearing Flash player cache, totally resetting Chrome settings, removing ALL my extensions, restarting, rebooting. All of the above multiple times, and in different orders. Also tried turning on and off most of W10 privacy settings and nothing works. I don't have any ad blockers installed in Programs And Features either. Turned off VPNs and reset internet settings.
All other sites like BBC player work fine. Same problem in Chrome, IE, Edge and Firefox so I'm thinking it's not browser specific since I never even used ad blockers in IE or Edge. The closest I get is if I clear my history and refresh the page, then the flash player goes into an infinite loading circle but never does anything. When I restart the browser I get the same ad blocker software alert message.
I'm 'guessing' it's like some sort of cookie that gets deleted when I clear the history, but comes back again after I restart the browser, but I'm probably wrong.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Do you have an ad-blocking HOSTS file, PAC file, or router-based system?
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.

1. Adblock plus installed but disabled i cant watch the video (ads are not blocked http://i.imgur.com/AlTfcmq.png).
2. Adblock plus enabled + this filter (viewtopic.php?p=89921#p89921).

Ah yes!lewisje wrote:Do you have an ad-blocking HOSTS file, PAC file, or router-based system?
This is the exactly what I was looking for!
I installed Spybot Anti Beacon recently and it added a load of 0.0.0.0 entries to my hosts file. I commented them out just now and it's working fine again.
Thanks a lot!
I HAD uninstalled anti-beacon yesterday but the host entries remained.
P.S. for anybody else the culprits I had to comment out were:
#0.0.0.0 s0.2mdn.net
#0.0.0.0 bs.serving-sys.com
