Adblock Plus

Adblock plus keeps popping up that an update is available. I do not want it but it keeps popping up. How do I disable update notifications?

Truth is I do not trust the popup - any malware can pretend being an update of ABP, can't they

Yes my popup looks the same as GuestAgain 's but in english.

The only extensions I have are Adblock Plus 1.8.3 and google docs 0.7 which is disabled.

There is no update for ABP for chrome, it's weird ...

That's the update notification for Adblock Plus for Internet Explorer. You can udpate it or uninstall ABP for IE if you don't use it.

If you have several browsers- like Firefox and IE, you can disable the update in one (like Firefox), and it may not affect the other installation (like in IE). So make sure and attend to both.

I only use Firefox for Youtube, so I disabled it in Firefox addon's editing, and simply removed it in IE- since disabling updates in IE is invisible (at least to me).

I have the very same pop up but using IE only. I know there is a tool to remove it. Does anyone know where to get it safely? Thank you.
